Facebook coming up with music service

After seeing the increase in popularity of Goggle’s new social networking site Google+, Facebook is rumored to be adding some more features on Facebook which includes new Skype powered music service.

The popularity of Google+ has increased to a great extent in just a couple of weeks and inspite of its limited availability, Google+ has generated unprecedented online interest. Facebook, in order to put its competitors behind, recently introduced video chat service in Facebook. The service was powered by Skype.

But the popularity of Google+ is still increasing so in order to keep itself ahead of its rivals, Facebook is now said to be coming with the new music service. Facebook is coming with it in order to up its ante and also to move ahead.

A product known as Vibes is situated within the code of software which is present inside the Skype that is used to enable the video chat service on Facebook.

According to the report which was published in Mashable, Jeff Rose who is a software engineer and a researcher found that the installer which is use to enable video chat contains two software instead of one.

Jeff wants to know what exactly was getting installed with the software so he took a look at the code of the plug-in. He found that the software contains two applications; one is Peep which is used for video chatting and the second one was Vibes which is similar to a music downloading app.

Facebook was looking for that kind of product from a very long time and Facebook will launch it soon because another music service of Google is already present in the market.
