Apple planning something big on its tenth anniversary
Boy genius reports, which is considered as a solid Apple source said, “Apple may be planning something big.” Another report from 'Appleinsider' states that Apple has restricted the time-off of its employees. Apple’s anniversary is on Thursday, May 19.
The reports
According to the reports which are coming out, Apple has told its employees through mail that they cannot take leave from May 20 to May 22. Apple has also planned night shifts at each store and now they will require 10-15 workers for Saturday and Sunday.
Apple is also taking a non disclosure agreement from its employees during the overnight shifts. The employees for this role include Geniuses, Specialists, a manager, visuals staff, a business team member, and back of house employee.
The reports also said that the Apple stores have received the hardware and more are coming later this week for installation. Apple is surely coming with something big as the reports states that Apple employees will put a black curtain while they will be working so that the customers will not see anything inside.
MacStories reported that Apple has scheduled the meeting early in the morning at 7 a.m. which is starting from the coming Sunday.
Potential product
However, it is not clear that what is to come but there are speculations that iCloud service could be the potential product and surprise. The iCloud service will play a major role in iOS and Mac OS of the future, the service will also offer streaming music and media capabilities.
All the things that Apple is doing are certainly Apple’s sales promotion strategy for its retail stores which were launched ten year ago.
The Apple stores were launched in on May 19, 2001 the places were McLean, Virginia, then at Tyson's Corner Mall and on Glendale Galleria in Glendale, Calif.
