The Olympus XZ-1 hits the stands

The XZ-1 was launched by Olympus soon after it had unveiled its PEN E-PL2 camera. The PEN E-PL2 is a camera that boasts about its lens changeability.
The tech specs
The XZ-1 guarantees an excellent low light performance, owing to its iZUIKO f (1.8-2.5) and (6.0-24.0) mm lens. The XZ-1 would boost its photographic effects with its integrated six Art Filters.
The Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR), which is also called the PEN shooter, adds onto the technical dimensions of the powerfully compact camera. The 10 Megapixel CCD sensor coupled up with the TruePic V image processor, provides the best digital imaging possible.
The monitor which is a 3.0 inch OLED screen displays videos and images, in par excellence ways. The video is displayed in HD format, where movies can be viewed in 720p.
The LCD displays with the help of 610,000 dots and is able to reproduce colors and shades with greater details. The Dual Image Stabilization technology assures one of getting the right picture, with the greatest precision.
The Mechanical Sensor-Shift Image Stabilization further enhances the picture dimensions with perfect picture delivery, even in the low-light conditions.
The accessories
The Accessories are many and are extremely useful to supplement the technical dimensions of the camera. The underwater case named PT-050, has been customized for the XZ-1 and is especially made of composed polycarbonate.
The SEMA-1 external microphone adaptor and the VF-2 electronic view finder are the other optional accessories for the XZ-1.
The camera would be available in all the major markets, by the end of this month and the street price for the product would be $499.99 for the time being.
The XZ-1 is considered to be a direct challenge to the Canon G12, Panasonic LX-5 and the Nikon P7000.
The package of power along with compactness will be a boon for all the photographers, enthusiasts and new comers.
