Google to launch much awaited Ice Cream Sandwich software

In its official blog, Google had elucidated its Android Developers on the needful steps which they should essentially follow for preparing their apps for Ice Cream Sandwich, the latest version of Google Android.

Though the prospective dates of the software launch have not been declared, the version is coming very soon as previously maintained by the web giant.

As Ice Cream Sandwich is configured to run apps on phones, tablets, and other related devices, Google has also provided specific instructions to make developers’ Honeycomb apps compatible on other devices, as the way it currently works on tablets.

As Google’s Honeycomb apps were previously seasoned only for tablet, the company now gives the developers options; either to make their Honeycomb apps fit for tablet-only or for all devices in one. In the blog, through miniature smartphones demos, Google has offered tips to its developers on constructing various components of Honeycomb apps.

Though all necessary information on much awaited and the most advanced version of Google Android has been given by the company on its blog, many developers have expressed their eagerness about the official launch of Ice Cream Sandwich in the market.

Market analysts are predicting late October or early November to be the time to watch out for Ice Cream Sandwich software in the market.

Meanwhile, news has it that Google has all planned to launch a fresh Nexus phone as an Ice Cream Sandwich flagship device. Amid all rumors, tech lovers have also underscored names such as Droid Prime, Samsung Galaxy Prime or even Big Red on Verizon for the software release.
