Microsoft accidently discloses the arrival of Halo 4
The website post confirmed that ‘Halo 4’ is in its developmental stages and will be released soon. The post, however, was removed immediately.
The brief update on the website has brought excitement to the gamers who are eagerly awaiting its release. The game is expected to be released at the end of 2012.
Microsoft to develop the new series
Don Mattrick, president of Interactive Entertainment Business at Microsoft, ended the company’s E3 press conference with a preview of ‘Halo 4’ scenes, which starred its popular character Master Chief and Cortana.
According to reports, the popular series sold more than a million copies and was responsible for Xbox being popular among video game lovers.
Reports also suggested that previous developer of the game, Bungie, has reportedly moved on to new project with Activision Blizzard and allowed Microsoft to develop the new series, which will be developed in its new studio, 343 Industries.
Other games to be released
Along with ‘Halo 4’ announcement, the website also stated that a remastered version of ‘Halo: Combat Evolved’ will be released in the month of November.
Microsoft also hinted the release of ‘Dance Central 2,’ ‘Kinect Star Wars,’ and ‘Kinect Sports 2.’
The presentation at E3 by Microsoft also focused on the voice commands and body movements that a player can use to control these games.
