Google updates its iPhone app

As per a report released by Google, the company has given a new name to its iPhone app, apart from giving a completely new design, and new features to the device.

Google Search for iPhone is the new name for the Google Mobile. The main attraction of the device is the brand-new interface feature, for searching the web and accessing apps.

Now, the features of this device have become very much similar to the regular Google.com interface. The users are very excited about the new features, which allow them to conduct searches via photo.

Not only this, the new mobile search application also provides quick access to Voice Search and Google.

The addition of a new search toolbar, which is accessible by swiping from left to right, is the most significant update to the Google Search app.

This toolbar may seem very familiar to the Google.com users, as it is almost similar to the left-hand column that appears on all Google Search result pages.

With the addition of this new search toolbar application, users will be easily able to access news, images, videos, blogs and discussions. Thus, this feature enhances the usefulness of Google’s iPhone app to a great extent.

Faster than the previous version
The other interesting aspect of this new application is its ability to pick up, from where you leave your search.

In case you have to attend an urgent phone call when you are in the middle of a search, this application gives you the option of returning to the page you were searching for by simply tapping the lower half of the page.

Apart from this, the application has a resembling list of Google’s mobile web apps including Gmail and Google Earth.
