When Motorola introduced Xoom, the company had announced making a free upgrade of the 4G LTE radio available to the Xoom users.

But nobody must have thought that the upgrade, which allows Xoom to connect to the Verizon LTE network, was not an easily available upgrade, and had some complexities attached to it.

Of late, the reports claimed that the upgrade takes more than 6 days to install.

“Essentially, here's how the upgrade process is going to work: approximately 90 days after the Xoom ships, Motorola will tell all Xoom owners that the 4G LTE upgrade is ready,” said a spokesperson.

The developers of Microsoft’s new mobile applications received their payments, after three months of the launch of their applications in the marketplace.

Apart from the waiting period and the amounts which were paid, the experience of the developers has been very nice with Microsoft.

Developers were keen to share their experience with Microsoft's development tools and their communication with the company.

There was full participation from the developers end, both before and after the launch of the application in the marketplace.
