Nokia has kept its promise to continue to support the Symbian smartphone OS along with its primary smartphone platform Windows Phone, even after the announcement of an agreement with Microsoft last month, says a report.
The new Symbian-based 3G touchscreen smartphone Astound, revealed by Nokia at the CTIA convention, will be accessible from April 6 for 3G HSPA network of T-Mobile.
The first Symbian 3.1 device by Nokia in the U.S. will cost around $79.99, and it will be available through T-Mobile stores and retailers like Costco, RadioShack, Sam's Club, Target Mobile locations and Walmart with a service agreement of two years.
