Microsoft has confirmed that it is postponing the ‘NoDo’ update, which was meant for windows Phone 7.

Microsoft spokesperson, Eric Haulta said that update will be available in the last week of March, but they are trying to launch it before that.

The ‘NoDo’ update would have added the Copy Paste support, CDMA support and Marketplace search in the Windows phone 7.

The update of the Smart Phone has been postponed for weeks, because of the failure of the first WP7 update, which was launched in February.

Microsoft also accepted that about 10% of the customers, who were using the updates especially with the Samsung devices, had issues.

The Guinness Book of World Records has declared the Kinect Sensor as the fastest selling gadget of all time.

As reported, Kinect Sensor was grabbed like hot cakes by the customers, and it made a record sale of more than 8 million units, in just 60 days.

Microsoft has already shipped more than 10 million units for retailers, since the release of the device in the month of November.

Keeping in view the number of Kinect Sensors shipped by Microsoft, if the rate of sale of the device is calculated, it shows that 222 Kinects were sold on an hourly basis.

Lately, Microsoft has released three security bulletins, which are anticipated to lessen the burden on the company’s March patch cycle to a great extent.

These three security bulletins will help in fixing four different vulnerabilities, faced by the Microsoft systems at present.

The major reason behind the release of a light patch cycle lies in unavailability of resolutions, for some known glitches.

Kaspersky security researcher, Roel Schouwenberg informed that two most recurring vulnerabilities were not fixed this month.

The two unsettled vulnerabilities include XSS vulnerability (CVE-2011-0096) and Windows Browser protocol vulnerability.
