AT&T brought good news for their iPhone and iPad users. From 11th March, once the iOS 4.3 will be available, AT&T will support the personal Wi-Fi hotspot feature that will be included in the iPhone and iPad. The best part is that you can activate or deactivate the personal WiFi hotspot any time and no penalty is charged for that.

How to use it
This is definitely welcome news for the AT&T customers as very soon they will enjoy an unrestricted internet usage on the move.

To utilize this facility users need to click on the MyAT&T app on their iPhone and change their data plan to include the Wi-Fi hotspot support. Then the users will be able to connect their laptop to their iPhone hotspot and surf the internet using AT&T's 3G cellular network.

How it saves money

Technology giant Apple has recently made a new addition to its App store that would facilitate magazine and newspaper subscriptions, on the iPhones and iPad devices of the company.

But not happy with the service, the media groups disapprove of letting Apple Inc. pull apart their customer base.

“Apple is using the popularity of its digital devices and its iTunes and App Store to stake a larger position in the media and entertainment business. Meanwhile, as the digital-media world evolves, publishers are struggling to establish online subscription businesses in anticipation of further erosion in their offline businesses,” revealed an industry insider.

Earlier, users were happy-go-lucky about how and where their data was being used, as they had unlimited data.

However, after the withdrawal of the unlimited data plan by the AT&T, customers made a lot of effort to understand data usage, but in vain.

The latest news is that a law suit is imposed on AT&T, which has accused it of overcharging the customers.

Are we paying the right amount?
After these revelations, it’s the time to know how our data is allotted and the way it’s consumed.

Not only this, we should also try to know the correct charges for the data consumption and check if we are paying the right amount.
