Rovio, the creators of the best-selling mobile game 'Angry Birds' have announced today that the company has planned to go on an expansion spree, and it has raised $42 millions from its stakeholders for the purpose.
This comes as a landmark achievement for the company, which has recently surpassed the 1 million download mark for the game that is played by a whopping 40 million users, every month.
According to the Daily Mail, UK Prime Minister David Cameron and Australian premier Julia Gillard, are amongst the fans of the game that involves birds shooting at pigs.
The game was launched in December 2009, and it is amongst the top downloaded games currently.
