Modern Warfare 3, the impending version of the famous Call of Duty series, is scheduled to roll out in November.

Activision, the Californian video gaming giant, has unveiled the limited Xbox edition of its upcoming shooter video game in the Call of Duty franchise, which was created by Ben Chichoski on October 29

After the speculation of ‘Modern Warfare 3’ as the next installment in the ‘Call of Duty’ series, Activision – the owner of the franchise – has released four teasers dubbed as “America Under Siege’.

According to reports, the game is being jointly developed by Infinity Ward, developer of ‘Call of Duty’, with Raven Software taking charge of the multiplayer development and Sledgehammer Games – an Activision division - involved with the single player scenario.

The teaser did not include any gameplay or cinematic clippings but showed New York as a possible arena for the game.

Reports also suggested that Activision had no option but to release trailers after widespread leaks in many gaming sites about ‘Modern Warfare 3.’

Gaming sites are buzzing with the anticipation of a possible early announcement of ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’ after indications regarding the same came from one of the voice actor from the previous series.

With the huge success of ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’ and ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’, Activision -- publishers of the franchise –- is believed to formally announce the newest addition to the franchise.

In a recent interview to a sports radio, ‘Modern Warfare’ voice actor Craig Fairbrass said, “I did Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as Gaz and then I did Ghost in Modern Warfare 2, which has become one of the more iconic figures in the history of computer games, which is great.”

Fairbrass added, “And I’ve just been out in LA doing something that’s going to be announced in May.”
