Competition in the cell phone network service provider market heated up this week, as At&T announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, that they will be launching a 4G LTE network by mid 2011.
This telecom giant is lagging behind, in the competition of high end 4G network so far. Sprint, Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile are already established player in 4G market and AT&T is coming pretty late.
To justify their late entrance in the market, Ralph de la Vega, CEO of AT&T Mobility said, "AT&T is the only U.S. company committed to both HSPA+ and LTE technologies," He also justified why customers should opt for AT&T "Today our customers are benefiting as we repeatedly increase speeds on our mobile broadband network.
