Branson's SpaceShipTwo makes 1st rocket-powered test flight

Paving the way for commercial flights in the very near future, a private spacesship designed to carry tourists to the edge of space, made its first rocket-powered test flight Monday.

The rocket powered flight comes after two recent glide test flights, on April 3 and April 12.

The Hubble telescope has photographed Comet ISON on 10th April when it was about 394 million miles from Earth.

NASA's Asteroid Capture Mission may get $100 million grant in 2014 US budget

NASA to get $100 million in 2014’s US federal budget for capturing asteroids, as per the recommendations of Bill Nelson, chairman, U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Science and Space.

The proposed plan of the space agency was to send an unmanned spacecraft to detect asteroid locations, disband it and then after destroying it to study the properties to know the composition.
