Can you imagine a robot hand reaching into the depth of your pocket to look for a coin of your choice from amongst many similar ones? Well, the roboticists have now developed a robot arm that provides the robots with a sense of touch.

International Paralympic Committee President Sir Phillip Craven dubbed the recently concluded Paralympic Games in London as “greatest Paralympic Games ever.” Rightly so, because of the way in which technology has helped physically challenged men and women to rise above their limitations and compete.

A charity group named Remap designs technology for helping physically challenged individuals. Two engineers, David Sheffield and Doug Watt, volunteer for the cause.

As coral reefs settlements are speedily vanishing from major seawaters of the world, researchers have built up underwater robot technology to repair corals and save them from extinction.

A swarm of sea-savvy robots have been manufactured by the Scottish scientists to be sent into deep seawaters to regenerate the corals and bring them back to lives.
