Apple is shifting to Sharp's new IGZO LCD panels for its next generation of iPad and iPhone, a report by Jeffries analyst Peter Misek claims.

The analyst claims that Apple's partnership with Sharp has resulted in enhanced IGZO (indium, gallium, zinc) LCD panels which can hit screen resolution of 330 dots-per-inch.

Putting the legal battle aside on the patent issue Samsung piped Apple to become the leader of the Smartphone market. In the last quarter, Apple was overtaken by Samsung which is now the leader of the Smartphone market.

A statement issued by UK based Strategy Analytics stated that in the last quarter Samsung sold 27.8 million Smartphones which aggregates 23.8 percent of the total Smartphone sale in the quarter.

World’s largest cell phone maker, Nokia who is struggling to hold its share in the market could launch its all new Windows Smartphone on Wednesday.

This could be a major statement by Nokia to its competitors in the Smartphone market. HTC, Samsung and LG have already announced that they are coming with Windows Phone handsets sooner.
