The fictional imagination of man flying with the help of a jetpack may soon become reality as a company from New Zealand that designed the jetpack, successfully tested its emergency parachute design to be included in it.

Martin Aircraft’s $100,000 jetpack was recently tested with the addition of an emergency parachute for safety in case things go wrong mid-flight.

According to the company’s founder Glenn L. Martin, the test was a success.

The 115 kilogram craft uses two ‘superfans’ that blasts air downward to propel the aircraft, can fly more than half an hour, reach more than 1000 feet and cruise at 100 kilometer per hour.

Scientists have designed a laser to start internal combustion engines due to which spark plugs could become obsolete in the future.

Most of the drivers face the ignition problem especially in the wet conditions. Sometimes the spark plug fails to ignite the fuel and this results in loss of time and money

The spark plugs which are used to ignite the mixture of fuel and air inside the combustion engine, were developed about 150 years ago and since that point they have changed very little. Scientists claimed that the new approach will increase the efficiency of the engines and also reduce pollution.
